My Husband is a VERY HAPPY man
Today Danny and I went "looking" at cars to see what kind of deals were out there. Well we stumbled across this little beauty and the price was so good we couldn't pass it up. We were leasing his 2007 Honda Accord and he had WAY to many miles on it from driving all over the state of California working this year so I thought it was time to get rid of it. Now my husband is smiling from ear to ear and still can't believe his dream of having a truck is a reality. It's a 2004 Nissan Titan 4 door. He is so cute he keeps going to the window and looking outside to make sure it's really out there. LOL
What a Christmas
Well we survived Christmas, barely!!!! I was so busy baking and cooking that I forgot I needed to wrap all the presents. On Christmas Eve Brandon and I went to Lakewood to see his mom's family and celebrate Christmas with them. We had really good food and got really nice gifts. Brandon was the hit of the party. I swear he is a social butterfly. Well when I got home around 10:30 I went straight upstairs and was up all night wrapping. I now know why my parents looked the way they did on Christmas morning when they went to bed at 2:00 am and we woke them up at 4:00 am to open presents. I went to bed at 2:00 am and Brandon had us up at 7:30 am, I just could not do it. I made him wait till 8:30, Danny's cousin Lindsey was coming over to open presents with us. As you can see in the picture Brandon got a lot of things this year. After opening presents for almost an hour an a half, I made a huge breakfast and then started on dinner. My sister Alycia her boyfriend Brian, Lindsey, Kathy (Danny's mom) and my Aunt Mary Jane join us for dinner. After dinner we went over to Brandon's grandpa's house in Long Beach and I guess Santa left more presents over there for him. We watched Iron man and had dessert. It was a long day but we loved spending time with all our family and friends.

Christmas Tree
We finally finished decorating our Christmas tree. It took longer than usual this year because Brandon helped and put all the decorations together in one spot. It was so funny, Danny and I left it for a few days and then tonight after he went to bed we rearranged them. I wish I took a picture of it before we fixed it. Oh well, here's our beautiful tree.

Such A busy week
We have been really busy this week. We decorated our house for Christmas, hung lights outside and went to Disneyland on Christy's day off. We pickd up Brandon after school and suprised him with a trip to Disneyland. We had so much fun and Brandon is now tall enough to go on all the big rides (California Screamin, Tower of Terrior, Soarin over California) he was so excited because 6 months ago he tried and they told him he was to short.

Belmont Shore Christmas Parade
This is the third year we have marched in the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade representing Boeing Aircraft Company. We had a really good time. We meet up with our friends the Elledge's and ride on charter busses down the tiny streets of Belmont Shore. There must be 200 of us that march in Boeing's group and afterward we return to Boeing's Cafeteria for dinner and a visit from Santa Clause. Each of the children 18 and under receive a gift. Brandon's name was called second to last. We were worried that Donner (his Elf) had informed Santa he was naughty earlier that day. He ran up there so fast I almost didn't get a picture of him with Santa. Here are some pictures from tonight and I will post more when I get them from the Boeing photographer.

Let The Pain Begin
Danny starts Physical Therapy today for the first time. He has been out of work since August when he injured his back again (this is the second time). The surgeon he had the first time said there was nothing wrong with him. THEN WHY ALL THE PAIN!!!! So I had him get a second opinion. The new doctor thinks it is built up scar tissue in between the discs and spinal cord, so she is sending him to therapy. I hope this works because it is starting to mess with his hip now. That's another Dr. appt and hopefully not surgery on that again. He's to young to be falling apart like this, now I could see if it was me in my OLD age. LOL I'll report later how the therapy went.

An Early Gift From Santa
Brandon got a wonderful surprise from his aunt Michelle. I guess Santa Clause sent her a ELF on a Shelf Book with an Elf from the North Pole in it to watch over Brandon and report back to Santa weither he's been Naughty or nice. Brandon has named the Elf Donner and is captivated by how much he moves around the house to keep an eye on him. I think everyone needs a Elf like this for their children.
Thanksgiving
So we spent Thanksgiving with my parents in Utah. We had a blast!! We went to Salt Lake City to see the lighting of Temple Square. It was beautiful, Brandon loved all the lights and colors. There was so many people but you could feel the spirit was there with us. So many family's, couples holding hands everyone was enjoying their time together. Here are some pictures from our trip.
A New Begining
